My academic career started at my beloved Alma Mater, the Autonomous University of Baja California, and after a long journey that included different prestigious institutions in Mexico, the United States and Europe, allowed me to reach the halls of Harvard Medical School, where I graduated with honors from their surgical leadership program.
In addition, my professional trajectory and social involvement have allowed me to meet amazing people, who have invited me to share my knowledge on topics regarding advanced bariatric surgery and patient care, among many others; making me a frequent speaker in forums as far away as Egypt, as prestigious as the University of Oxford and as close to my heart as my own city of Tijuana.
